Smoked Prawn Carbonara

  • 2 packets Norfolk Bay Gourmet Seafoods Wood Smoked Prawns
  • 300g sphagetti
  • 4 slices bacon, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced 
  • 1/2 tsp dried basil
  • 1/2 tsp oregano
  • Salt and black pepper
  • 100g cream cheese
  • 200ml cream
  • 200ml milk
  • 1/2 cup frozen peas
  • 1/4 cup freshly grated parmesan
  • 2 tbsp chopped fresh parsley

Step by Step Instructions

Step 1

Cook the pasta.

Step 2

Cook bacon until brown and crispy.

Step 3

Add garlic to the skillet and cook till fragrant. Stir in cream cheese, milk, cream and peas. 

Step 4

Add prawns. Season prawns with basil, oregano, salt and pepper.

Step 5

Stir in pasta and bacon. If the mixture is too thick, add more cream as needed. Simmer for 3-5 minutes. Garnish with parmesan and parsley.
