Smoked Prawn


Bring Italy to your home with this simple and quick recipe. It serves 2 people.


  • 1 packet Norfolk Bay Gourmet Seafoods Wood Smoked Prawns
  • 1 tsp olive oil
  • 20g butter
  • 1/2 onion
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 85ml dry white wine
  • 270g arborio rice
  • 3 cups chicken broth
  • cup milk
  • cup frozen peas
  • 1/3 cup grated parmesan
  • Freshly chopped parsley and parmesan to garnish

Step by Step Instructions

Step 1

Melt butter. Add onion and garlic. Cook for two minutes until translucent.

Step 2

Add rice and stir for 30 secs until rice is translucent on edges. Add 2/3 of the chicken broth, stir, bring to simmer. Simmer for 7 minutes.

Step 3

Add remaining broth and milk. Stir and simmer for 7 minutes.

Step 4

Add peas and parmesan and quickly stir. Add extra butter and stir vigorously

Step 5

Gently stir through prawns. Stir and simmer for 2 minutes. Serve garnished with fresh parsley and parmesan.
